Dr. Prasanth Pillai is an internationally renowned Oro-Maxillofacial Surgeon & Implantologist with more than 25 years of practice experience. After being in mainstream Maxillofacial practice for more than 15 years, he got trained in Immediate Load Implantology under pioneers in the field from Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg, and France and has been in the practice of Immediate Functional Load Implantology for almost a decade.

Academics and profession

Dr. Prasanth Pillai completed his graduation in Dentistry and post-graduation in Oro-Maxillofacial Surgery from the prestigious R M Dental College, Annamalai University with Gold Medals in Oro-Maxillofacial Surgery, Periodontics & Orthodontics.

Dr. Prasanth Pillai Was introduced to fundamentals in Dentistry by own father Dr. K S Pillai, Senior Dental Surgeon General Dentistry, under expert dental specialists Dr. M K James (Kochi) and Prof. Dr. C R Ramachandran (Chidambaram) in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery under the expert guidance of eminent professor Dr. B Srinivasan and Prof. M. F. Baig at RM Dental College, Annamalai University. Dr. Prasanth Pillai also practiced in Orthognathic Surgery under the expert guidance of Prof. Varghese Mani, Thrissur, and Basic Dental implantology under Dr. Srikanth Mallan, Alleppey.

Hobbies & Other Activities.
  • Dr. Prasanth Pillai is trained in South Indian Classical Music – Vocal and Percussion. He has won prizes in various music competitions conducted at the school, collegiate and university levels. He won First Place in the All Kerala Percussion (Eastern) Competition held at Ernakulam in 1984. He is the Patron of the “Rasikapriya” Cultural Society – Ernakulam, Kochi.
  • Dr. Prasanth Pillai is also interested in sports and physical activities and he is a life member of the Regional Sports Centre, Kadavanthra, Ernakulam. Dr. Prasanth Pillai undergone basic training in Yoga and Meditation under experts. He won the Best Cadet of the 21 Kerala Battalion NCC(Army)–Senior Division Boys Wing –1985. Lifei.
