Do Veneers stay white?

Porcelain veneers will stain, but resin coated porcelain takes longer than other materials will to develop staining. That’s one of the many factors that make porcelain veneers a great cosmetic dentistry solution.

With proper care, your porcelain veneers will stay pearly white for as long as ten years, and by then, it will be time for the recommend repair or replacement of your veneer.

Note: Smoking can discolour the edges of your veneers. Furthermore, having stain-resistant veneers does not mean that patients are immune from poor oral health or further dental complications. We still recommend maintaining a healthy diet, regular upkeep of your dental hygiene, including visits to the dentists.
