What is the most common reason to have veneers replaced?

The porcelain veneer is strong and should not break under normal circumstances. Your teeth change over time, and eventually, the veneers will need to be replaced to keep up with your gum line and the wear and tear that naturally occurs. If gum recession occurs, the root of the tooth may become exposed. Patients may want new veneers to cover the roots. Veneer replacement is as simple as the initial procedure.
