I'm , Vigi Govender, residing in Durban, South Africa. I lost most of my bone in my mouth causing most of my teeth on upper and lower jaws to be loose. My dentist here in South Africa advised me to go through a procedure where bone from my hip would be removed and bone graft done in my mouth to build up bone to hold implants. This wasn’t guaranteed to work. On, researching, I found I could have problems to my hip too.

I was very fortunate to have found , Dr Prasanth Pillai - Director The Smile Centre , Kochi , Kerala, India.

He, removed all my teeth and fixed with Basal Implants. This was done in an unbelievably short time of 2 weeks. Dr. Prasanth, His very beautiful Dentist wife , Dr Sreeja Pillai, and his staff are highly qualified and extremely helpful in helping In whatsoever his patients need, as far as even arranging accommodation. I found The Smile Centre Clinic to be highly hygienic .

Since having my Dental work done in September 2016, I’ve recommended Dr Prasanth of The Smile Centre to many patients requiring dental work. In my time spent at the clinic I’ve met several patients from abroad, coming from different parts of the World having all sorts of dental work done. As a dental tourist from Australia I researched the internet for a few years. I chose Dr Pillai and the SmileCentre.in in Kochi after some exhaustive searching on the net with a particular emphasis on "value" and "experience".

I am elated with the results (as is my son and wife) and at all stages knew I was in the right hands.

I have had the lower mouth completely done and will go back next year to get the upper mouth completed. Thank you to the Dr, All the Smile Centre staff, Dentcare Staff and Thank you Kochi.

Going to a dentist at the best of times is quite daunting but when you add international dentistry to the equation is gets a whole lot more challenging or so your first thoughts are.

From the reception to dental procedures I was relieved to have my fears put at ease with the professional care that Dr Prasanth, Dr Sreeja and the Smile Centre staff showed me.

Language was not a problem as English is used through out India.

If I had any issues with my mobile phone or internet connection Dr Prasanth was always there to assist me .

India is a country you fall in love with or you don't so for me it was definitely a place that I now call my second home

I would like to start by conveying to you and all of your team my heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the attentive and highly professional manner in which I was received and treated at your clinic. Allow me, through yourself, to extend my sincere thanks to the team at Renai Medicity Hospital too.

As a person with a long history of medical issues and requiring additional care, it was very comforting to see how Dr. Pillai spared no effort to ensure that the entire procedure went as smooth as possible and with full medical care should it be necessary. Fortunately no additional medical care was required and everything went well!

Although it was not as painless a procedure as I had hoped for, I cannot in any way attribute it to Dr. Pillai; on the contrary everything possible was done to reduce it.

Now, almost one (1) year after the procedure I have acquired full sensitivity and I must say that I am very happy with the treatment and with the result I have. Hopefully in a short period of time will have these temporary crowns replaced for the final ones and the treatment completed.

By way of conclusion and based on my experience with Dr. Pillai, I must say that he has a true and genuine passion for his work which is highly evident in the excellent final results of the same.

I, clearly and without hesitations, recommend Dr. Pillai to all who seek dental treatment.
